I would knit this if I weren't pregnant

I recently discovered a semi-new zine called Metapostmodernknitting. It's run by a group of friends who are librarians at some fashion library in LA, and many their patterns are inspired by/ knock-offs of designer pieces. I like this one a lot.

Knitting something for myself in my current state is stupid, right? Then again, if I started it now, at the rate I knit it would probably be finished by the time I get some semblance of my old body back.

I never think it's a bad idea or a stupid idea to knit something for yourself. I always think it is a good time to knit for yourself.

if your sweater rate is anything like mine, your little one will be heading to elementary school before the sweater is completed :)
so sure, starting it sounds like a good idea. It looks like it isn't made too fitted.
the front looks a bit like a tank-top that is sagging- so i think i'd have to fiddle with those front panels a bit. *** o, I hope I didn't ruin it for you. because otherwise the design is wicked cool!

The style totally looks like you...at a glance I thought it was you modeling it! And the title of the blog/zine/whatever sounds like something you should have come up with.
